
Rosebud Man Pleads Guilty to Failing to Register as a Sex Offender

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that Nathan Makes Room For Them, age 28, of Rosebud, appeared before U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken on December 8, 2011, and pled guilty to an indictment that charged him with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. The maximum penalty upon conviction is 10 years of imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine.
Between June 2010 and March 2011, Makes Room For Them, who is required to register as a sex offender, failed to update his registration. The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service, and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Kelderman.
A presentence investigation was ordered, and a sentencing date was set for March 23, 2012. The defendant was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending sentencing.
